How to hold the bar

Easily avoidable!

For all pulling exercises (deadlift, rowing, pull-up, chin-ups, etc…) you shouldn’t grab the bar in the center of your palm.

It will roll, making your lift much harder.¬†And you might eventually rip your skin, especially if you don’t have a good hand care routine.

The bar has to be on the top part of your palm. This way it won’t hurt your palm and it won’t roll. Your grip will be stronger and more stable.
